Every chauffeur on our platform holds a private hire driver licence, an enhanced DBS (criminal record) check with an active DBS Update Service subscription, and a valid medical certificate meeting DVLA Group 2 standards. Our internal system tracks the expiry of each of these and flags any driver whose documentation lapses.
Every vehicle in our fleet is checked against UK private hire vehicle (PHV) licensing rules — including MOT status, hire & reward insurance, and TfL vehicle age limits — before it's put into service.
Beyond initial checks, our HR team independently reviews and signs off on every driver's and vehicle's compliance documents — separate from whoever entered the data — before that driver or vehicle is cleared for bookings.
If something goes wrong on a trip — lost property, a safety concern, anything — signed-in riders can raise it directly from their booking, or reach us via our contact page.
